Privacy policy

Unslip stores the data you give it so you can track commitments. This page explains, in plain language, what is collected, where it lives, who processes it, and how you can get it back out or delete it. It is written for people who care about private client conversations — because we do too.

What we collect

  • Your account details (name, email, timezone) and your workspace.
  • Contacts, promises, appointments, and activity history you create.
  • Conversation text you paste into the app or forward to your workspace email address, used to extract and track commitments.
  • Basic usage analytics (page views, referrer) so we know marketing works.

We do not read your pasted conversations for training, research, or anything beyond returning the tracked results to you.

Where your data lives and who handles it

Follow-ups are captured, stored, and delivered by the processors below. No other services ever receive your message content.

Supabase
Database, authentication, and storage. All promises, contacts, conversations you paste or forward, and inbox rules are stored here in PostgreSQL.
Region: The hosting region configured on the project (visible in the Supabase dashboard)
Retention: Core product data. Backups retained for a limited period; deletion requests are honored and propagated.
Netlify
Web hosting / edge delivery of the app and marketing pages.
Region: Global (CDN)
Retention: Ephemeral request logs.
OpenAI
AI drafting. Only the conversation text you explicitly choose to draft from is sent, and only when you ask for a draft. Drafts are suggestions only — notification drafts are versions you approve and send yourself, and appointments/automations never draft or send anything email automatically.
Region: Processing per OpenAI's current data handling.
Retention: OpenAI API customers: content is not used to train models by default; see OpenAI's data usage policy.
Resend
Transactional email delivery — reminder notifications you enable, and messages you approve for send.
Region: US (us-east-1)
Retention: Delivery logs as required for operational purposes.

Email and AI use

  • Emails are only sent when you ask: reminder notifications you opt into per promise/appointment, and messages you explicitly approve.
  • Nothing is ever sent automatically on your behalf.
  • AI only drafts suggestions. A draft is sent only if you copy it and hit send in your own email client — or explicitly approve a notification we deliver for you.
  • Your data is not used to train public or proprietary models.

Security

  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS).
  • Data is encrypted at rest by the hosting provider.
  • Access to production data is limited to the operator and authenticated via keys rotated on demand.

Your controls

  • Export: download your contacts and promises at any time from Settings.
  • Delete: delete individual items, or request permanent deletion of your account and workspace. We honor deletion requests within 30 days, which includes removing data from backups.
  • No card is required, so there is nothing to cancel during the beta.
